Good Morning,

  Greetings to all Scouts and Scouters. I hoe you find this block to be of improtance to all of you in the future. If you will keep coming back on a regular basis, I will attempt yo keep you abreast of important dates and events which will be coming up in the coming month. As always the calander will be where you will obtain information for your long range planning. This area will be for reminders and important announcements.

OK, here we go:  The next camping trip will be on August 20-22, 2010, at the Pondhouse. It was announced at the last meeting for the previous weekend. However a major conflict occured. The emphasis for this event will be advancement (Scout to First Class). See all of you at the Pondhouse.

THURSDAY (6-19-08) 6:30 AM MEET AT CHURCH TO LOAD GEAR (BRING BREAKFAST IF YOU WISH TO, WE WILL NOT BE STOPING AS WE LEAVE)
7:00 AM DEPART FOR PISGAH NATIONAL FOREST
NOON +/- STOP AT REST AREA TO HAVE LUNCH
3:00 PM CHECK IN AT RANGERS STATION, MOVE TO CAMPSITE, SET UP CAMP
6:00 PM DINNER

FRIDAY (6-20-08) SLIDING ROCK AND LOOKOUT FALLS

SATURDAY (6-21-08) CRADLE OF FORESTRY AND FISH HATCHERY

SUNDAY (6-22-08) WHITEWATER RAFTING

MONDAY (6-23-08) HIKE TRAILS – LOOKOUT FALLS

TUESDAY (6-24-08) VISIT DUPONT STATE PARK

WEDNESDAY (6-25-08) VISIT CHEROKEE INDIAN RESERVATION

6:30 AM BREAKFAST
7:00 AM FINISH PACKING AND LOADING GEAR
9:00 AM DEPART FOR CONWAY, SOUTH CAROLINA
1:00 PM LUNCH AT REST AREA
4:30 PM ARRIVE AT CHURCH IN CONWAY – CLEAN VEHICLES AND STORE GEAR
5:30 PM GO HOME
